This Standard specifies requirements for mechanical jointing fittings suitable for use with polyethylene pipes manufactured in accordance with AS 1159 or AS 2698.2. This Standard is applicable to fittings manufactured for use in the conveyance of water in water supply, agricultural, industrial, and other applications.
