1. This specification is based on B.S. 1287 : 1946 and B.S. 1288 : 1946. It covers the requirements of cylinders for the storage and transport of carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide and ethylene in accordance with the filling ratios and assumed working (gauge) pressures set out in Table 1.
