1.1 This code of practice relates to cylinders containing gases for use as anaesthetics and for oxygen therapy, resuscitation and other medical purposes; to certain features of anaesthetic and gas-therapy apparatus as used in medical, dental and veterinary practice; and to gas distribution systems by pipelines in hospitals.
