This part of this Kenya Standard specifies the requirements of conduits nade of steel or any other suitable metallic materials of circular cross-section for the protection of conductors and/or cables in electrical installations. The specification applies to threadable and non-threadable plain rigid metallic conduits, hereafter in this standard called 'threadable and non-threadable conduits'.
