This Korean Industrial Standard specifies tar epoxy resin paints.
Remarks: 1. Tar epoxy resin paint is two liquid type paints which is used mainly for thick coating bridges, steel pipe, cast iron pipes external plate of ships internal tanks in ships, oil tanks, steel plate, concrete surface, etc. for preventing corrosion in the presence of seawater, freshwater or high humidity. It is made mainly from epoxy resin, coal tar, pigment, a hardener and a solvent.
However, tar epoxy resin paints can be used by mixing for the purpose of coloring when aluminum paste is coated. 2. In this standard, the units and numerical values in { } are in accordance with the International System of Units (SI), and are given only for reference.
