This Korean Industrial Standard specifies hexagon slotted and castle nuts of steel (hereafter referred to as "steel nut"), and hexagon slotted and castle nuts of stainless steel (hereafter referred to as "stainless steel nut"), both for general use.
Remarks 1. In this Standard, the generic term for the steel nut and the stainless steel nut shall be simply the "nut".
2. In this Standard, units and numerical values in { } are based on the traditional system of units and are currently the criteria in force.
