This standard provides the testing method for the oil-based caulking compounds (1) (hereinafter to be called "caulking compounds) used for joint for buildings and for the repair of cracks and filling the gaps between the sashes.
Note (1): Caulking compounds are categorized into 2 types: for gun and for knife. Some caulking compounds are used only for winter or summer.
