This Korean Industrial Standard specifies the steel welding pipe flanges and shut-off flanges connecting steel pipes to be used for general pipings of steam, air, gas, water, oil, etc. (hereafter, referred to as "flanges") and of which basic dimensions are of flanges of nominal pressure 5K to 30K in accordance with KS B 1511. The dimensions of welds of slip-on welding flanges and the strength confirmation of the flanges are stated in Informative references 1 and 2.
