This Korean Industrial Standard specifies small indoor switches which are mounted mainly on indoor and outside walls of housing and the like, used in electric lines of a.c. 250V or less with a frequency of 60Hz, for lamps or small electrical appliances (hereafter referred to as "switches"), with the rated current of 20A or less as shown inn Table 1. However, switches with automatic breaking mechanism, explosion protected type, other special types and specially designed ones for a certain small electrical appliance are not included.
Remarks 1. The working ambient temperature shall be not more than 40℃.
2. This Standard does not apply to switches which start and stop motors (motors incorporated in small electrical appliances are included).
