This Korean Industrial Standard specifies gas burning hot water boiler (3) (hereafter referred to as "boiler") using mainly general gas. The boiler possesses a burner, the fuel of which is liquefied petroleum gas or city gas (1) (hereafter referred to as "gas"), and its indicated amount of gas consumption (2) shall not be more than 69.5kW: 251 .OMJ/h (5kg/h of the liquefied petroleum gas, 60 OOOkcal/h of the city gas).
Notes (1) The liquefied petroleum gas referrs to the one specified in KS M 2150, and the city gas referrs to the one in KS B 8101.
(2) The indicated amount of gas consumption referrs to the one indicated on the product as gas amount consumed when the boiler is burnt with the most amount of gas consumption.
(3) Boiler referrs to an instrument that makes a room warm by heating water in heat exchanger by combustion heat of the gas, and it also includes the one with the function for instantaneous water heating.
Remarks 1. The units and numerical values in { } in this standard are in accordance with traditional system of unit, and are currently standard values. 2. The indicated gas consumption of this standard is written 4 kinds of units and numerical values, but each kind is the same value substantially.
3. The pressure mentioned in this standard is gauge pressure except the pressure indicated with atmospheric pressure.
