This standard specifies different ways of writing monetary amounts with Swedish or foreign currency designations in order to attain good readibility, in some cases also taking into account the requirements of saving space or providing security against forgery.
An Appendix to this Standard includes, as extracts from standard ISO 4217-1981, Codes for the representation of currencies and funds, examples of currency designations in countries within the OECD.
