适用范围
This standard is applicable to the principal sub-assemblies or function elements used with analogue or digital ratemeters to form systems for r?te measurement. These systems are used in nuclear instrumentation for the continuous measurement of the counting r?tes of random pulses in the range of 0.1 to 106 c ? s-' produced by detectors such as counter tubes or fission ionization chambers. The sub-assemblies considered are: analogue biased trigger circuits, HV power supplies for detectors, analogue electrical isolators, double time constant filters and auxiliary circuits (an example of a r?te measuring system is shown in Figure 1, page 13). Nuclear radiation detectors, low voltage power supplies, pulse processors (amplifiers), are not dealt with here and neither are analogue-to-digital converters nor digital-to-analogue converters. These are dealt with in other IEC standards. The indicating instruments, when used, are assumed to have been calibrated in accordance with methods not described in this publication and which may be taken from other IEC standards, such as IEC Publication 51: Recommendations for Direct Acting Indicating Electrical Measuring Instruments and their Accessories. It was decided that the scope should be as general as possible, and therefore this standard gives neither lists of qualification, type or acceptance tests, nor numerical values for the various characteristics specified. On these points, it will be necessary to complete the specifi-cation, according to the specific application (e.g. reactor instrumentation, radiation protection, laboratory measurement, manufacture, etc).
