This Recommendation concerns all equipment mounted on a land or air vehicle used for prospecting for radioactive ?res or ?res for which radioactivity measurements can be utilized, and which are not included in the category of portable equipment with their own power source.
This Recommendation is intended to permit the use of the above-mentioned equipment by using as power source, operating either as booster batteries or autonomously, the storage batteries normally existing on board the various types of vehicles used for this method of prospecting.
