The lamps covered by this standard are designed specifically for the following applications:
PROJECTION
PHOTOGRAPHIC (including studio)
FLOOD-LIGHTING
SPECIALIZED AIRFIELD PURPOSES
GENERAL PURPOSE
Lamps for automobile, aircraft and similar applications are not covered by this standard.
