This standard covers non-interrupted creep testing of aluminium wires, mainly used for stranded conductors for overhead lines.
At the test the creep elongation of the wire is measured as a function of loading time, when the wire is loaded by a constant tensile force at a constant temperature.
Regarding quantities and units, Swedish standards mentioned under clause 2 shall apply.
