This part of ISO 7876 establishes a vocabulary and definitions relating to fuel injection pumps for compression-ignition (diesel) engines. It is intended to achieve a universal vocabulary for fuel injection pumps for use in com-munication and computer control of service parts. It is complementary to ISO 2710.
