The standard applies to mobile elevating work platforms whose highest working level above ground is greater than 2 m. Thus the standard does not apply to:
— fire lighting and fire appliances
— working cages which are lifted by a crane or truck
— reel st?nds and hanging scaffolds
— permanent installations for maintenahce
