1.1 This standard specifies types and classes, dimensions and permissible variations, composition and manufacture, mechanical requirements, marking, sampling and criteria for conformity, and tests of non-reinforced concrete drain pipes, both of the tongue and groove type and bell and spigot type.
1.2 This standard applies to non-reinforced concrete pipes for general drainage service and for use where there is no excessive weight or load applied on the pipes.
