1.1 This standard specifies shapes, dimensions and tolerances, materials, manufacture, requirements, mark and label, sampling and criteria for conformity and tests for prestressed spun concrete piles.
1.2 This standard covers only prestressed spun concrete piles manufactured by pretensioning, and spinning process and intended for use mainly as compression piles and only at site where water, if present, is fresh water.
