1.1 Tlis standard specifies grades, composition and manufacture,requirements, packing, marking, sampling and criteria for conformity and tests for
tinplate.
1.2 This standard covers blackplate and tinplate in nominal thicknesses from 0.15 mm up to and including 0,5 mm. It does not cover tinplate in coils or double reduced tinplate.
1.3 Special quality and requirements required of blackplate and tinplate other than those specified herein shall be by the agreement between the purchaser and the manufacturer.
