1.1 This standard specifies principle of test, symbols and designations, test pieces, testing machine, maintenance of the testing machine and requirements of reverse bend testing of steel wire.
1.2 This standard covers only the reverse bend testing of steel wire having a diameter or characteristic dimension equal to or greater than 0.4 mm but not exceeding .10 mm.
