1.1 This standard (Part 2) prescribes methods of sampling and purity tests for oils and farts. The standard also covers test methods for contaminants such as copper, iron and soap content. 1.1.1 The purity of oils and fats is determined indi-rectly by testing the absence of other oils or adulterants.
