This standard specifies the performance requirements and test methods for fixed electrical apparatus for the detection of carbon dioxide concentrations hazardous to health in the ambient atmosphere. This apparatus is of importance for the storage of containers in cellars or poorly ventilated rooms. It is applicable to mains- powered apparatus intended for use in beverage dispensing systems, including integrated withdrawal systems in aspirated apparatus.
