The present document contains the Abstract Test Suite (ATS) to test the dPMR Call Control (CCL) and Data Link Layer (DLL). The objective of the present document is to provide a basis for conformance tests for ERM dPMR equipment giving high probability of air interface inter-operability between different manufacturer's ERM dPMR equipment. The ISO standard for the methodology of conformance testing (ISO/IEC 9646-1) and the ETSI rules for conformance testing (ETS 300 406) are used as a basis for the test methodology. ? Clause 4 describes the Test Configuration used to test the dPMR Dynamic Link Layer (DLL) and the Call Control Layer (CCL). ? Clause 5 describes the ATS conventions, which are intended to give a better understanding of the ATS. ? Annex A provides guidelines for upper tester implementation as well as testing with an emulated and simulated SUT. ? Annex B provides the TTCN-3 part of the ATS. ? Annex C provides the Partial Protocol Implementation Extra Information for Testing (PIXIT) Proforma of dPMR. ? Annex D provides the Protocol Conformance Test Report (PCTR) Proforma of dPMR.
