This Annex specifies the Diameter server CGOE component. The Diameter base protocol can be used to provide an authentication, authorization and accounting (AAA) framework for applications. A Diameter server CGOE component operating in conjunction with a Diameter Client CGOE component can be used to provide an AAA facility.
