This Standard specifies structure and performance of electrode force measuring device
for resistance welding equipment (hereafter referred to as "an electrode force measuring
device") which measures electrode force of resistance welding equipment (hereafter re-
ferred to as "electrode force") using a force sensing unit covering the range of 0.1 kN to
50 kN. The measuring devices with built-in resistance welding equipment are excluded
in this Standard.
