This SAE Aerospace Information Report (AIR) covers the general requirements for and the listing of manufacturers identification that appear on electrical/electronic wiring devices and accessories as required by individual product specifications. Purpose: This document provides users of electrical/electronic wiring devices means of identifying the manufacturer by use of distinct marking of the device.
