This specification covers four types (see 3?l) of men's boots made according to the Goodyear welted principle and with stitched or stuck-on outer soles.
I0TE:
a) The titles of standards referred to by number in the specification are given in Appendix A.
b) Requirements that must be specified by the purchaser are listed in Appendix B.
c) The common ticket references corresponding to the specified nominal linear densities for the threads detailed in Table 4 are given in Appendix C.
d) Except under the standardization mark scheme, provision of the samples required in terms of 8.1.2(b) requires special agreement between supplier and purchaser.
