This specification covers the manufacturing and performance requirements for two types of sanitary towel for external use.
NOTE
a) The standards referred to in the specification are listed in Appendix A.
b) Requirements that must be specified by the purchaser are listed in Appendix B.
c) Guidance on the verification of the quality of sanitary towels produced to this specification is given in Appendix C.
d) Except under the standardization mark scheme, assessment of compliance with the requirements of Section 3 requires special agreement between the supplier and the purchaser.
