This code covers the sampling of shaped refractory bricks and contains guidelines for obtaining from a sample the most accurate assessment possible (with a known degree of statistical reliability) of the quality of a consignment. NOTE a) The methods given in this code do not permit brick qualities to be evaluated or compared with respect to their suitability for a specific application. b) The code is valid for shaped refractory products and should be used in cases where no test or evaluation agreements are available.
