This International Standard specifies the mechanical properties of bolts, screws, studs and nuts — with nominal thread diameters, d, from M1,6 to M39 inclusive; — with metric ISO thread in accordance with ISO 261; — made of copper and copper alloys or aluminium and aluminium alloys. It does not apply to bolts, screws, studs and nuts with special property requirements such as — corrosion resistance; — electrical conductivity.
