With fully automatic international telex operation, call durations are registered automatically. Administrations may not have tickets available for working out the distribution of charges on the basis of the chargeable duration of calls.In accordance with the relevant Recommendations for signalling in the telex service, the call-connected signal should start the equipment for determining the chargeable duration of the call in the case of automatic switching between subscribers.
