This Recommendationdefines the traffic measurements generated by digital telecommunications exchanges operating in a switched telephone network and ISDN. A generic traffic measurement model is established, based on the definition of the entities to be measured and the objects on which the measurements are performed, and the different traffic flows occurring in the exchange are identified.
