适用范围

This Recommendation applies to transmission planning of speech transmission quality for end-to- end intra- and inter-network connections. It should be considered as a tutorial and illustration for the planning of networks with respect to the speech transmission quality of narrow-band 3.1 kHz real time telephony via handsets. Networks designed according to this Recommendation will also provide sufficiently high speech quality for the transmission of announcements and stored speech.
