This standard specification applies to single-core stranded hard-drawn copper conductors having not fewer than seven strands covered with polyvinylchloride or copolymer (hereinafter called PVC) and intended for use on overhead power lines not exceeding 660 volts to earth. It does not apply to neutral-screened aerial cables.
