This Standard covers thermal insulation materials within the temperature range of -7 °C (20 °F) to 66 °C (150 °F). Part 1 is the revision of NZS 1340:1970 covering thermal insulation materials of the type available in 1970; Part 2 is the specification for loose fill thermal insulation materials; Part 3 specifies requirements for flexible slab and blanket thermal insulation materials, and Part 4 is the specification for reflective foil insulation materials.
