This Standard deals with household refrigerators and freezers (herein-after called refrigerators), the capacity of which does not exceed 0.5 pubic m, intended to be fed by a supply voltage not exceeding 250 volt. The Standard deals either with refrigerators and freezers composed of a sealed cooling unit or with those of the absorption type.
