Deals with basic dimensions and accuracy of vee blocks used for precision measurements. It defines a standard range of blocks capable of accommodating cylinders from 1/8 in. to 5？ in. diameter. It provides for three grades of accuracy and includes some basic terms and definitions. Although basically concerned with blocks having an included angle of 90° the Standard can also be used for other angles with certain modifications of nominal dimensions affected by the change in vee angle.
