- This standard is applicable for the professional use of network protocols for the connection of stage lighting control systems and dimming systems or other connected peripherals in fixed or flexible venues for entertainment. In this part of the standard Ethernet topologies and their use are described in principle. The control of equipment or machinery which can be hazardous requires additional measures for example by applicable networks, protocols, safety measures. These are not part of actual standard.
