This International Standard defines the terms defining the states of edges and specifies rules for representing states of edges of undefined shape in technical drawings. The proportions and dimensions of the graphical symbols to be used are also specified. In cases where the geometrically defined shape of an edge (1 × 45°for example) is required, the general dimensioning principles given in ISO 129-1 apply.
