This ITU-T Recommendation is part of a series of Recommendations that specify the 43 interface requirements for communication between an Operations System (OS) and a Network Element (NE), between an OS and a Mediation Device (MD), between an OS and a Q Adaptor (QA), and between OSs in a Telecommunications Management Network (TMN) [1]. The current issue of this ITU-T Recommendation provides a Stage 2 and Stage 3 Description [19] for Alarm Surveillance to support the associated TMN management service component described in [3].
