This standard applies to chlorinators for the treatment of water for use as drinking water, swimming pool water, spa bath water and industrial water, and for treating cooling water and waste water.
This standard is applicable only to chlorinators operating by the indirect method. For plant provided with chlorine evaporators this standard applies to vacuum regulator connected to the evaporator unit and call equipment downstream of this regulator.
