This standard specifies the characteristics of nuts, hexagon with MJ thread, captive washer and counberbore, self-locking, steel used together with screws and bolts of 1 100 MPa nominal tensiles strength for temperatures up to 235 ℃, only subjected to shear loads and not subjected to tensile loads, for aerospace applications.
