Accuracy of coordinate measuring machines - Parameters and their checking - Estimation of measurement uncertainty of coordinate measuring machines by means of simulation
This guideline describes the basic conditions for the determination of the uncertainty of measurements taken on CMMs by means of simulation taking into account measuring instrument, measuring object, measurement task, measurement strategy and ambient conditions. The guideline aims at harmonising the basic procedure without narrowing down the options for technical realisation. Measures allowing to make the procedure more transparent to the user are recommended, and ways for the user to verify the procedure are described.
