The document deals with the reduction of dust and gas emissions from new plants in the coffee treating and processing industry with a minimum daily output of at least 0,5 tonnes within a three months averade production. It covers all process stages from the delivery of the green coffee through to the packaging of the roasted or ground coffee, describes ways of reducing and discharging the emissions and gives instructions on emission measurement. The production of instant coffee does not fall within the scope of this document.
