1.1This standard deals with the working of concrete surfaces and the fitting installation of cast stone in and at buildings.
1.2This standard does not cover
—the dry jointing of sett and slab pavements (c.f. DIN 18318),
—the production of concrete elements (cf. DIN 18331),
—curtain walling comprising slabs with a nominal thickness of up to 30 mm on a secondary frame (cf. DIN 18351).
1.3 DIN 18299 clauses 1 to 5 shall also apply. In cases where the specifications of DIN 18299 contradict the present standard, the latter shall take precedence.
