This Standard specifies requirements for sterilized central venous catheters which are intended for single use for the purpose of injecting drug solution,collecting blood and/or measuring venous pressure,etc.(hereafter referred to as "catheters"),and guide wire,dilator,introducer needle,introducer tube and sheath introducer which are used for insertion and placement of catheters.
