This standard specifies a method for determining the resistance of geotextiles and geotextile-related products to pullout from soil using a laboratory pullout box. The goal of the procedure is to provide data relating to the development of friction on materials used primarily for soil reinforcement. The test method described is performance test procedure to determine the fitness for use of geotextiles and geotextile-related products intended to be used in a given application.
