This standard specifies a method for the quantitative determination of Iron2+ and Iron3+ in oxidic raw and basic materials for ceramics, glass and glazes, e. g. felspar, kaolines, clay, limestone, quartz, by solution spectrophotometry.The concentration ranges for both iron species are within 10 mg/kg to 2000 mg/kg and can be determined in parallel.
