This document applies to kick scooters which can only be propelled by the muscular activity of a user with a body mass of more than 35 kg and less than 100 kg. It specifies safety requirements, test methods, marking and information supplied by the manufacturer to reduce the risk of injuries to both third parties and the user during normal use.
